Intimacy series:
A selection of images from a short series about intimacy and the lack thereof through overt and metaphoric imagery. Bedroom imagery, sunlight, and breakfast foods are incorporated to create a morning environment. (2006)

Relationships:
A collection of images which document and illustrate the varying relationship dynamics among various couples as well as a depiction of their domestic spaces. Some of the couples are personal friends and others were strangers that volunteered to participate in response to an internet advertisement. Interactions with each other within their own environment are explored to show the viewer something unique and private existing in both of these points. (2007)

Cyanotypes:
A small body of images that include a series of figure studies in cyanotype. These images were shot on film which was scanned and and made into larger digital negatives. High contrast was utilized to control the amount of cyan used in order to render photographs that may resemble drawings and have a very clean, simplified look.

Self Portraits:
An ongoing body of work including self portraits of my own relationship. The images demonstrate something a mood or aspect of the relationship on the day the photograph was taken. Diptychs and triptychs are also utilized to help emphasize the environment of the interaction and highlight the personalization of the domestic space. Other singular images are included as continuations of visually describing these interiors. This work is most recent and catalogues a series of real but casual moments which define the dynamics of my relationship between different moments as well the context in which we both live. (2007 - 2008)

LETTER WebART
Click to experience tangible letters through fragmented digital communication. With so many ways to communicate via computers, cell phones, the internet, email, IM, etc., we have become a society which has largely forgotten the great art of letter-writing. This project chronicles a selection of letters I have received over the course of two years. The messages and hand crafted aesthetic is fragmented and linked by words and symbols, some of which resemble modern online icons. By linking the fragments through symbols and words, the viewer can experience a sense of fluid conversation without ever being given the full context of the writing, much like we experience in different forms of electronic communication. The multiplicity of links also provides a unique experience for each viewer.
